![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe it will randomly disappear at some point if I keep playing? Does turning it on and off again help? Nope - the discipline itself turns off and on again as it should, but my PC is still covered in blood whether it's on or off. You wouldn't happen to know a console command to "reset" the blood shield effect or remove it by any chance? The sound effect also stops correctly - only my character is now perpetually covered in blood! I didn't notice until I went and fed on someone in an alley. Well by this I mean, the discipline itself DID turn off, as did the effect in first person - but in third-person, it LOOKS like it's still active (even though it isn't). I used blood shield for the battle (as I do every battle with a Tremere that has it), and this time the blood shield didn't turn off, even though I explicitly pushed the "end discipline" key. But of course I don't have a save just before this happens, so can't exactly easily test it.īTW came across another weird bug, this time in Zhou's warehouse. to do! Especially since she can't enjoy that sort of thing as much as before.Īs for python errors, well there are generally always errors around, but none near the cemetery indicate anything to do with Romero. Hey come on, that still takes effort, energy, etc. Wesp5: I think that's because you actually have to do something then and not just have a pretty body ). ![]() TL DR question: is Romero supposed to come back and allow you to feed on him if you get with him as a female vamp after having already done the cemetery zombie quest? If so, has anyone else had him not come back? Unfortunately I can't confirm this part one way or the other since I wasn't really paying attention to my XP before and after. I suspect that accepting his "offer" during his conversation right after "You only die once a night" might mess with things, and if I had accepted his offer after that mission but while he was in his shack, then it might have worked as intended?įinally, I also don't recall receiving notification of getting XP after doing him, but it's possible I still got them but the game didn't do the "ding" for some reason (which happens sometimes). I've since progressed to Chinatown and still nothing. His shack was open, yet Romero was nowhere to be found!ĭoes Romero now disappear after you get with him? I remember that if I get him the hooker, that his place ends up being closed forever from that point on - but if you get with him yourself, he's supposed to be available (for feeding etc.) isn't he? At least according to the walkthrough that comes with the patch.Īdditionally, the walkthrough also mentions that he's supposed to send an email to you at some point, but I never received any email from him. Much later, I went back to the cemetary as part of one of the main missions, so I thought I'd drop in on Romero for a snack. After that I leave the cemetary, thinking nothing of it. This time I accept, which surprises him, then we do the deed (black screen etc.). Then he not-so-subtly comes on to me again. He improves my skill and lets me keep the gun too. Beat the mission (first try, surprisingly enough - using the axe exclusively) He tried to chat me up, but I declined (for now) and instead accepted the task to watch the cemetary (You only die once a night) ![]()
